Alexandros Maganiotis

 

 

Alexandros Maganiotis was born in Athens, where he lives and works. He studied Architecture at the National Technical University of Athens N.T.U.A. Completed postgraduate studies and received Master in Architectural Design (M.Arch) from “The Bartlett” Faculty of the Built Environment, U.C.L. London. He is a talented and imaginative visual artist, who remains loyal to his architectural origin and creates original paintings, humorous and ingenious, with an abundance of details and many unexpected imageries. The 24 letters of the Greek alphabet, a series of unconventional and funny numbered prints of hybrid creatures, is an emblematic collection of his work.
